Meet your guide and driver at Piazzale Roma at the steps of Ponte della Costituzione (also known as Calatrava Bridge). From there, you start your trip to the fascinating town of Treviso, a medieval city just half an hour from Venice.
Once in Treviso, your guide takes you for a short walk in the city centre, which still retains most of its medieval architecture and charm. A pleasant walk through the canals and the fish market leads us to the very heart of town, Piazza dei Signori, where you visit a renowned osteria (traditional spot that serves wine and food) for a glass of Prosecco and a first delicious taste of local treats.
Then, you meet our driver and we head to the first family-owned winery — along the way, soak in the scenic views of the area, with its vineyards and historic villas and castles. There, we show you how Italian bubbles are made and, of course, you have the chance to taste their amazing wines on this food and wine tour of Treviso!
After the first winery visit, we take you to Conegliano, where another small winery awaits, ready to show you its breathtaking views and sublime wines. Sip a sample while learning about Prosecco and Veneto history.
And if you haven’t fallen in love with the region yet, just wait until you arrive at your last stop, a true Italian gem! Five generations have run this family business where traditions and genuine care for the environment go hand-in-hand to create some amazing wines.
During the drive back to Venice, your guide provides you with local tips so you can get to know the area better and make the most of the rest of your holiday in Veneto!

I didn’t expect to have Simone and our own car and driver all to myself! Will never look at a wine list or just order ‘prosecco’ ever again. A highlight of my time in Italy!
Mrs. Maureen S. from USA travelled on 09 May 2017:
Not posting friends emails as I shared my adventure on Facebook! Simona was fabulous!!!
Mr. Robert G. from United Kingdom travelled on 13 Sep 2016:
Absolutely fantastic!!!!! Our Guide for the day (Simone), was on time, funny, and extremely well versed in both the area and the wine making process. The chauffeur was extremely polite and professional. All of the Vineyards were enthusiastic and eager to answer any questions.
The day was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip to Venice, good food, excellent Prosecco, glorious countryside and great company. What more could you ask for? A big thank you to Simone for making the day so special.Mrs. Sonja V. from USA travelled on 08 Sep 2016:
We thoroughly enjoyed the whole day through Treviso and the Prosecco area. We met the wine-makers, their staff and went through every inch of their wine-making process. It was such a wonderful day, truly the best of our 17 day vacation. We would highly recommend for anyone who wants to experience a different part of Italy while still staying in Venice. Truly a lovely day. Worth every penny. We were treated like “rock stars” all day.
